During the museum renewal interval from September 1, 2016 ~ March 2019, the Fukuoka Museum collections will be shown at the exhibitions sites below. (Will be updated from time to time)
"Encounters and Resonances: Masterpieces from the Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art and the Fukuoka Art Museum"
It is the exhibition of masterpieces from the Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art and the Fukuoka Art Museum. Approximately 40 works of modern and contemporary art masterpieces from the Fukuoka Art Museum will be exhibited. Such works as "The Madonna of Port Lligat" Salvador DALI, "The Flying Sleigh" Marc CHAGALL, and "Elvis" Andy WARHOL will be displayed.
Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum

Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum
Period: February 23 (Thurs) ~ April 2 (Sun), 2017
Hereafter, Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art, Kurume City Art Museum, Miyazaki Prefectural Art Museum and Shimane Art Museum are scheduled for travelling exhibitions. Their exhibition period will be made public upon confirmation.
The museum collections of the works can be view at various art museums and museums in Fukuoka City as well as those in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Fukuoka Asian Art MuseumF

The early period of representative works by Kapoor and his drawings will be exhibited.
✳Such works as "Still Two of Us", 1974 by Zao Woo-ki will also sequentially be exhibited at the Asian Galley of this museum as well.
Fukuoka City MuseumF
From the new fiscal year of April 1, 2017, the Kuroda Family Treasures of the Fukuoka Art Museum and the Fukuoka City Museum will sequentially be exhibited at the Fukuoka City Museum.
Kyushu National MuseumF

Our museum Pre-modern art collection will be exhibited from January 2017 at the Kyushu National Museum. Attributed to Hu Zhifu "Hotei, God of Fortune"
